Love these heaters. We ordered a few other brands and HHD was by far the best quality so we returned the others. This is the second winter we've used this feeder and it's life changing! Before we got this heated feeder, I'd wake up ridiculously early, JUST to put out the feeders, only to need to bring them back in an hour or two later to thaw and refill, all day long! (When it was really cold.) The past couple days have been ridiculously cold for Seattle (got down to 4 degrees with windchill this morning) and most of the food does freeze in the upper bottle section, but in the very bottom where it's close enough to the lightbulb and where the hummers drink, it was still liquid. I've had two feeders to try to help their territory arguments, but only one HHD feeder, and finally just ordered a second one because I'm tired of thawing and refilling the non-heated feeder many times per day, and I also feel bad for the hummers when it's icy cold! Can't wait for our second heated feeder to arrive!
Excellent company! My hummingbirds didn't migrate last winter, so I kept them happy through the colder days with a heated feeder from Hummers Heated Delight! It worked perfectly all winter long! It's a great design, easy to clean, and the company stands by their products! A+!
An exceptionally well designed and engineered heated feeder for my resident Anna hummingbirds. Very easy to clean and maintain. Keeps the nectar in liquid state despite winter temps that typically dip to 9-17F during December/January months. My hummers are alive and well thanks to your feeders. THANK YOU AGAIN!
A lifesaver for a wintering Rufous in East TN. 16oz heated feeder works well, down to almost zero degrees with no issues. Plenty big enough. Simple, easy to clean, affordable and made my like much simpler. Have bought 3 and some for gifts.
